Journey Behind the Print (A Note from Amanda)

This was shot on my college / university graduation trip, which I chose to do instead of walking the stage. This family trip of a tour around Italy was full of many memories. I don’t remember exactly where along the coast this was taken, but I think it was on the way to Positano if not from Positano. I think the Amalfi Coast is just as picturesque as they say it is, and even better at sunset and I’m sure also at sunrise. The way the light hits the rocks, it’s worth seeing in person.

This paper has a slight sheen to it making it less reflective while still maintaining its sharpness. This Giclée fine art paper has a super matt finish that gives our travel posters a painted look and feel. This is our hand-selected premium paper for our travel posters. We recommend handling this paper carefully to avoid the edges fraying.

Mats

Mat’s are cut from acid free cardboard. They are 1400 micron which is 1.4mm in thickness. The window is cut to an angle of 45°

Hanging Fixtures

The hanging type fixture on the reverse panel is ‘Nail hanging’. Most frames are equipped with hangers in portrait and landscape format.

Glass Materials

The majority of the frame windows are made of edge-ground float glass with a UV filter of approx. 45%. The frames are also equipped with an acid-free insert and a sturdy rear panel.

Frame Materials & Colors

Nielsen Quadrum picture frames are made in Germany from FSC®-certified wood. The wood comes from sustainably managed forests that meet the criteria of the Forest Stewardship Council. The Oak frames are solid wood from FSC®-certified sources with an Oak veneer.
