Product Guide

What's in Frame

The Chapel Bridge (Kapellbrücke) is a historic covered wooden footbridge spanning the Reuss River in Lucerne, Switzerland. Built in the 14th century, it's Europe's oldest wooden covered bridge. The bridge is adorned with triangular paintings depicting historical scenes and local legends. While a fire in 1993 destroyed many of the paintings, the bridge has since been restored and remains a popular tourist attraction.

Journey Behind the Print (A Note from Amanda)

This trip is one of my all time favorites, when people ask me where is my favorite place I’ve been, Switzerland has always been on that list. This was another tour but around all of Switzerland. Walking this charming Swiss town and coming upon this beautiful bridge was one to remember.

Fuji Matt Photo Paper

This archival photo paper is coated with a slightly stippled texture giving it a very natural photographic finish with subtle color. This paper has a slight sheen to it making it less reflective while still maintaining its sharpness. This paper was hand-selected for its versatility and available for all our prints and travel posters.

Satin Pearl (Studio Selects)

Hahnemühle Pearl Fine Art Paper

This Giclée fine art paper has a smooth orange peel texture and resin coating which creates a fibrous feel and satin-like finish. The paper creates natural black and white images and gives the image the feel of an oil painting. This is our hand-selected premium paper for our black & white prints.

Presentation Details

Single Mat (Studio Selects)

Mats are cut from acid free cardboard. They are 1400 micron which is 1.4mm in thickness. The window is cut to an angle of 45°

Window Mount Color: White

Hanging Fixtures (Studio Selects)

The hanging type fixture on the reverse panel is ‘Nail hanging’. Most frames are equipped with hangers in portrait and landscape format.

Glass Materials (Studio Selects)

The majority of the frame windows are made of edge-ground float glass with a UV filter of approx. 45%. The frames are also equipped with an acid-free insert and a sturdy rear panel.

Frame Materials & Colors (Studio Selects)

Nielsen Quadrum picture frames are made in Germany from FSC®-certified wood. The wood comes from sustainably managed forests that meet the criteria of the Forest Stewardship Council. The Oak frames are solid wood from FSC®-certified sources with an Oak veneer.

Frame Colors: White, black & oak.
