What's in Frame

The Roman Forum was the heart of ancient Rome, a vibrant center of political, social, and economic life. This historic site, located between the Palatine and Capitoline Hills, was home to numerous temples, basilicas, and government buildings. It witnessed the rise and fall of the Roman Republic and Empire, and its ruins still stand as a testament to the grandeur of ancient Rome.

Journey Behind the Print (A Note from Amanda)

This was shot on my college / university graduation trip, which I chose to do instead of walking the stage. This family trip of a tour around Italy was full of many memories. It was nice to wrap up a wonderful tour of Italy, with our final stop in Rome. The city may think of when you say “Italy”, and the rich history of the Roman Empire. Seeing the Colosseum and Roman Forum, and learning about the history behind these ruins was incredible. One of my favorite memories is that of seeing a spray paint artist painting in the streets. Watching him paint was incredible and I ended up purchasing one of his paintings that’s still framed and on the wall.
