Journey Behind the Print (A Note from Amanda)

This was shot while I was on my first river cruise down the River Elbe with my mom. I remember buying my first DSLR, a Canon XTi, in 2006 on our first family international trip to London and Paris. Since then, I remember buying photography books and trying to learn everything I could about photography to get ready for this trip. Each city we stopped to was amazing and a city or town you wouldn’t really think to go to, as they were all small towns or cities along the river. The Saxon Switzerland national park was stunning and looking back can see how it got its name. This shot was taken from a beautiful stone overlook.
